Emerald: Hallucinations From The Beyond

Image
Emerald: Hallucinations From The Beyond Discalimer: The characters, the species, and the scene set up is entirely ficitional. Any resemblace to the real life is purely coincidental. Lake Emerald sat on the outskirts of this beautiful town famously known as Typhon. The inhabitants of this town were old fashioned and in general agreeable people. Natalia, born to a native of this town named Mr. Terry Sage, grew up in this town for a brief period of time around when she was in her prime teen years, that is, when she was 16 to 19. And then she moved back to the city, where she originally grew up, with her mother. You see, in her prime teen years, her parents decided to give their marriage one last chance which didn’t work. However, things soon ended amiably when Natalia’s mother Carrie decided that she wanted more from life and Terry was content where he was.  At the age of 25, her mother died due to cancer. Natalia was livid at God for taking her mother sooner than she expected. You se...

Collection Of Poems : 2 AM Thoughts

Collection Of Poems: A Memoir Of 2 AM Thoughts I: Growing Pains - Gayatri II: To The One I Loved - Gayatri III: Please Miss Me - Gayatri IV: Threads Of Yesterday - Gayatri V: Concept Of Love - Gayatri VI: Shades Of Envy - Gayatri I: Growing Pains And as I travelled closer to twenty three The waves soared louder and harder than it had ever been When did cynicism become epitome of art?  And when did sunshine became wonders of the past?  Is there a way I could travel back in time Back when I was eleven and everything seemed to be nothing at all All this never ending pent up rage inside of me When did it become self destructive when it defined my self driven parts I travelled closer to twenty three, so far away from the horrors of twenty two Tell me, did the teenage years took something from you too?  When I was nine, all i wanted was a chocolate to eat and maths to make sense But now that i am older, all that i am, all that i will ever be Is a mosaic of everyone I have...

The Butterfly Effect

Image
THE BUTTERFLY EFFECT  Today I saw a butterfly close its wings And for the first time in my life,  I saw pretty turn into ugly when it simply decided to sleep What are we? Who are we?  Shiny until we let the world in Until the world lets us see the light in every little thing Until then, and only then, when we have nothing but forward to steer in.  The moment it turns all dark and cold When the reality of the light decides to set in,  When the world decides to clutter and wreck havoc And everything you've ever known turns to dust And everything you've ever been turns into everything you will ever be Who are we? For we do not know any more Faded and jaded Slowly losing control  Letting ourself hide into the oblivion Desperately hanging onto a thread of fate and hope That someday you'll clap your wings again and be yourself again As if you were just a butterfly in its resting phase. ~ Gayatri

Voices of Paranoia

Image
"Voices of Paranoia" Voices, I think I'm hearing them again Self reflections disguised as misconceptions directed towards me Accusations of haunts that have surpassed the reality of me What is it about my soul that questions the innermost intentions of well being Don't you like me? As I ask cowardly...  "Why, yes I do... You are just too untrue... " "I like the thought of you, but never the presence of you" "Honey I love you and it's all in your head" Tell me, they say actions speak louder than words And if I'm too ungrateful, how do I know it's not just you?  I see your efforts to pacify me but it is all in vain I do not seek help, I seeked understanding And yet you offend and disappoint me  Even when I give you honesty You're hearing my words, and interpreting and adjusting to suit your well being... -Gayatri

REBEL BLOOD

Image
"Rebel Blood" Knocking on my door, there you stood A vision in blue, and for the first time with a non condescending look Born with a silver spoon in your mouth Shiny gates and pearls waited for you back in the past Time  and distance never held it against your wealth We envied the love around you that never went South That is atleast until today, that you washed up in my arms Time and distance avenging errors that weren't made on your path Now I see the glimmer in your eyes, envying the love of your past With every scream and every creek in floorboard Cautious of the errors made by those before you You learn to belong with us You learn to fight along us Born with a silver spoon in your mouth You said you never could understand our rebel acts That is until, the day that everything around you flew right past -Gayatri

EPICENTRE

Image
EPICENTRE  Shards of lonely pieces Wonder if you collect them all Blunder, surrender, thunder A sequence of series forbidden and cradled for Humanity, cruelty, insanity Colors of a new mosaic painting in my gallery Flying through the seeming disparage Wonder if you’ll make it through this stairwell A stairwell of magic and wonder But once inside, An epicenter for mean old sufferings They speak of godly wordings and messiahs Often misinterpreting their desire for love and admire Round we go, chanting beautiful hymns Round we go, lighting beauties of fire Round we go, round we go, round we go And suddenly we’re tired A bond of creativity and purity Broken by the schemes of an unoccupied mind Something born out of love and beauty Is now nothing but a breeding ground For hate, illusion and deceit.

Golden Thread

Image
Golden Thread Penned down my thoughts, my muses A story I thought I knew well A song I thought I sang so well A poem I thought I wrote so well Rustled through the pages and the words I glanced through the looking glass What seemed like a fabric of palter Granted me an epiphany for eternity A past carefully woven with a golden thread But through the looking glass,  All I saw were callous knots, restless thoughts I saw it come undone And for the for the first time, I knew I was in the wrong. -Gayatri
