Voices, I think I'm hearing them again

Self reflections disguised as misconceptions directed towards me

Accusations of haunts that have surpassed the reality of me

What is it about my soul that questions the innermost intentions of well being

Don't you like me? As I ask cowardly... 

"Why, yes I do... You are just too untrue... "

"I like the thought of you, but never the presence of you"

"Honey I love you and it's all in your head"

Tell me, they say actions speak louder than words

And if I'm too ungrateful, how do I know it's not just you? 

I see your efforts to pacify me but it is all in vain

I do not seek help, I seeked understanding

And yet you offend and disappoint me 

Even when I give you honesty

You're hearing my words, and interpreting and adjusting to suit your well being...
